Postcards from England

By Jamey Price In Recent Work

For those that know me well, and those that have followed my work long enough, know that horse racing is a sport deeply engrained in my blood. It’s a passion my family has shared for many decades and it was what originally brought me to England back in 2010 when I lived and worked as a steeplechase jockey and “lad” riding out at stables around England and Ireland.

I am blessed and incredibly fortunate to have friends sprinkled all over England, and between race weekends over the last two weeks, I spent time with some of those friends in places that I once called “home.” Middleham, North Yorkshire was home base back in 2010, but I also spent a good amount of time with friends near Guiting Power with Nigel Twiston-Davies’ yard.

So for a change of pace from car racing, enjoy some photos of racing life in England!

So many thanks and endless love to Dom, Becky, Becky, Jo, Nige, Cathy, Sparky, Amber, Foxxy, Tim, Gemma, George, Charlie, Matt, Kay, Paige and Jack for their help and support.
